EARLY RELEASE CANDIDATE
The software is ready. The learning library is still growing.
This is Ascension's first public release candidate. The application code is complete for this release, and the full instructional text for the Help system is already included.
Over the coming month, we will continue expanding the Help system with additional interface screenshots while building a comprehensive library of video tutorials. Ascension already includes extensive first-time visual guidance and mouse-hover tooltips throughout the operator interface.

Ascension for Linux

For Linux systems, the recommended installation method is the official IEW Solutions APT repository. It downloads and installs the current Ascension package and keeps the system ready for future updates.

Install from the IEW Solutions APT repository
This signed repository method installs the full Ascension media-server application, its local ARC companion and required dependencies. Future releases are available through Debian's normal package-management system. For a separate operator workstation, use the public ARC-only downloads and Linux instructions instead.

Ascension is currently tested and officially supported on Debian 13 · 64-bit x86 (amd64). Other Debian-based Linux distributions may also be compatible but have not yet been formally validated. Ascension includes its application runtime and complete offline Help system. An Internet connection is required for downloading, online licensing operations and software updates, but not for normal operation.
Your Windows installer link is time-limited. Register again at any time to generate fresh download access.

Download ARC for the operator workstation.
Ascension Redundancy Control brings the Ascension browser workspace and remote Stream Deck control together in one companion app. Use it with a single Ascension server or a configured Main / Backup pair.
For redundant operation, install ARC on a separate operator workstation, independent of both media servers. The operator computer does not need the full Ascension media-server application.

Install ARC alone from the signed IEW Solutions APT repository on a Debian 13, 64-bit x86 (amd64) operator workstation.

Install ARC without the Ascension media server.
These commands configure the same signed repository used by Ascension, then install the standalone ARC package and its required dependencies. If this workstation already uses the repository, the setup reuses the existing source file.

Future ARC releases are available through Debian's normal software-update tools.

Deploy Ascension on supported Linux systems for dedicated playback, remote-node and appliance-style production configurations.
