The operator needs to see the production as it is actually being delivered. Ascension keeps monitoring tied to the same stage model used by playback and Output Mapping, with custom multiviews, live preview and registration geometry for the physical installation.
MULTIVIEW DESIGNER
Build the monitoring surface instead of accepting a fixed grid.
Arrange routed sources and production information into a purpose-built composition. Size and place PIPs, add labels, use selection and lasso tools, and create a monitor view matched to the operator's job.
REGISTRATION GRID
Align the logical stage against the physical installation.
Generate engine-side test geometry for selected Pixel Spaces. The pattern is produced from the same logical production model used by Output Mapping, making it useful for identifying boundaries and aligning real-world display surfaces.
- Select the Pixel Spaces that should display the pattern
- Use alignment presets and adjustable grid behavior
- Verify boundaries without loading special media into the show
- Keep registration tied to the stage model instead of individual content files
LIVE PREVIEW
Inspect compositing before it becomes a troubleshooting problem.
Ascension's preview surface reflects layer geometry, clipping, borders, transparency and keying so the operator can work with the visual state of the production rather than only numeric controls.

When the problem is not the picture but where the picture is going, move to Output Mapping. Physical Screen, DeckLink/SDI and NDI consumers are assigned to logical Pixel Spaces independently from show programming.
